Monster Madness: Grave Danger is a 2008 third-person shooter developed by Psyonix for the PlayStation 3, based on the earlier Xbox 360 and PC title Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, which was originally created by Artificial Studios. Publisher SouthPeak Interactive enlisted Psyonix to substantially rework the game for its PS3 release rather than produce a straight port. The result includes a revised control scheme, an overhauled camera system, and four-player online cooperative play throughout the adventure mode. Beyond these structural changes, the game adds 25 new challenge modes, 100 purchasable character-specific accessories, and additional unlockable costumes. The core gameplay centers on battling waves of monsters across suburban environments, with the cooperative and challenge content expanding on what the original release offered. A port to Android was announced in February 2011.
