Released in 2002 for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, Monsters, Inc. is a side-scrolling platformer based on the Pixar film of the same name. Players control Sulley as he works to return the human child Boo safely to her home, a task complicated by Randall's destruction of her door. Throughout the game, Sulley must navigate a series of levels featuring multiple doorways, ladders, and interconnected environments while evading Randall, the Child Detection Agency, and various other threats. The gameplay centers on jumping, dodging enemies, pushing objects, sneaking, and using a roar attack, with collectible items scattered across stages.
