Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life simulation and RPG developed by Studio Supersoft, released in 2023 for PC, Mac, Linux, and Nintendo Switch. Set across a procedurally generated world of 100 floating islands, players take on the role of an apprentice alchemist completing a year of training away from home. Gameplay combines farming, potion brewing, and social life-sim elements with turn-based card combat against wild Spirits — over 70 of which can be tamed and recruited as battle companions. Exploration takes players through ancient temples, dungeons, and varied biomes using vehicles like balloons, brooms, and gliders. A home base can be established on any island and personalized with more than 300 decorative items. Village NPCs can be befriended and romanced, with marriage available as an option. The endless Infinidungeon mode provides an additional combat-focused challenge for those seeking extended play beyond the main storyline.
