Motion Explosion! is a Kinect-required arcade party game developed by Artech Studios and released in 2011 for Xbox 360. The package contains twelve mini-games, each represented through the player's own Xbox avatar. All games support one to four local players in a turn-based format. Two distinct modes are available: Freeplay, which lets players select individual games and earn stars to unlock additional levels, and Motion Mix, which randomly selects three games in sequence and awards points toward leveling up based on performance. Every mini-game launches with two Easy levels, while earning enough stars progressively unlocks Medium difficulty stages (levels three through seven) and eventually Hard stages (levels seven through ten). Score multipliers appear across multiple games, adding an incentive for skilled play. The combination of avatar integration, scalable difficulty, and both solo and multiplayer options makes it a broadly accessible motion-control collection.
