Mr. Driller 2 is a puzzle-arcade game developed by Namco, originally released in 2000 across arcade, PC, Game Boy Advance, and Wii U platforms. Players control a driller burrowing downward through stacked columns of colored blocks, clearing a path while managing the threat of enemy encounters and environmental hazards. The core mechanic revolves around drilling strategically through increasingly complex block arrangements without being crushed or overwhelmed. Adapted from its arcade counterpart, the game offers several distinct modes: Mission Driller structures play around specific objectives, Endless Driller removes stage limits for continuous digging, and Time Attack Driller introduces a race against the clock. The Game Boy Advance version also supports a two-player competitive mode via link cable. The sequel builds on the foundations of the original Mr. Driller with additional modes and expanded content.
