N+ is a console and handheld adaptation of the Adobe Flash PC game N, developed by SilverBirch Studios and released in 2008 for PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS. An action-puzzle platformer built around nimble ninja movement, it offers over 300 levels alongside more than 400 additional stages created specifically for this version. Gameplay relies on physics-based controls, and a built-in level editor provides further replayability. Compared to the original, N+ introduces redesigned visuals that expand on N's minimalist aesthetic, new enemies and objects including a Pulse Drone, Laser Turret, and Zap Doors, as well as a full soundtrack with 5.1 surround sound support. Multiplayer accommodates several competitive and cooperative formats — cooperative play, racing, and survival modes — while unlimited lives keep the focus on mastering each stage rather than managing resources.
"In a futuristic world of inadvertently homicidal robots, a daring ninja must use deft acrobatic skill and guts of steel to survive."
