Namco Museum 50th Anniversary is an arcade compilation developed by Digital Eclipse and released in 2005 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PC. Assembled to mark Namco's fiftieth year, it collects fourteen titles drawn from the company's classic arcade catalog. The lineup spans multiple genres and eras, ranging from maze games such as Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Mappy, and Dig Dug to fixed and scrolling shooters including Galaga, Galaxian, Xevious, Bosconian, Dragon Spirit, and Sky Kid. Racing is represented by Pole Position and its sequel Pole Position 2, while Rolling Thunder and Rally-X round out the selection. Each game is presented as a faithful reproduction of its original arcade version, giving players access to a broad cross-section of Namco's foundational output across roughly two decades of coin-operated gaming history.
