Released in 1996 by Namco for PlayStation, Namco Museum Vol. 2 is the second entry in the company's arcade preservation series. It compiles six classic titles: Super Pac-Man, Xevious, Mappy, Grobda, Dragon Buster, and Gaplus, spanning maze, shoot-em-up, platformer, and action genres. Beyond the playable games themselves, the collection includes a museum section featuring previously unreleased photographs and written documentation covering the development history of each included title. This archival component distinguishes it from a straightforward compilation, offering historical context alongside the gameplay. The collection was later made available on PlayStation 3 in addition to its original PlayStation release.
