Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Her Interactive, released in 2009 for PC. Players take on the role of Nancy Drew, who arrives at the historic ruins of Castle Malloy in Ireland for the Simmons-Mallory wedding, only to find the groom has vanished. The investigation unfolds against a backdrop of Irish folklore and banshee superstitions, as Nancy pieces together scattered clues to determine what happened before the ceremony. Alongside the central mystery, players engage with a variety of side activities rooted in the setting: assembling floral bouquets and seating arrangements for the wedding, playing the bodhrán with a band, making smoothies at the Screaming Banshee Inn, and participating in arcade games.
