Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is an action-strategy game developed by Aspect and released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, serving as the fourth entry in the Ninja Council series. Gameplay takes place across small maps where players engage ninjas and animals in combat under varied mission conditions, such as finishing an opponent with a specific move, keeping health above a threshold, or protecting an ally. Boss encounters feature antagonists drawn from the Naruto series. The Nintendo DS touch screen functions as both a navigational map and an input surface for executing jutsu techniques. A dedicated Movie mode lets players view special techniques outside of standard missions. The international release omits or alters certain character content present in the Japanese version, including Kimimaro and elements tied to the Sound Four. In Europe, Nintendo published the title under the name Naruto: Ninja Council European Edition.
