Naruto: Ninja Destiny is a 3D one-on-one fighting game developed by Dream Factory and released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, marking the first three-dimensional Naruto fighter on the handheld. The game draws its content from the animated television series up through episode 140, incorporating characters, story sequences, and plotlines from that run. A roster of 16 characters is available across single-player story and versus modes, as well as wireless multiplayer. Combat takes place across both screens, with battles displayed on the top screen while the touch screen is used to deploy power-ups and items. Players can perform jutsu and execute combo attacks through a system designed to be accessible to newcomers while retaining depth for more experienced fighting game players.
