NBA Live 10 is a basketball simulation title developed by EA Canada and released in 2009 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, and iOS. The seventeenth entry in EA Sports' long-running NBA Live series, it centers on authentic recreation of professional basketball, casting players in control of NBA rosters and teams. Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard serves as the cover athlete. The iOS version was released under the name NBA Live by EA Sports. The title proved to be a significant milestone in the franchise's history — it would be the last NBA Live release for four years, as the planned successor NBA Live 13 was cancelled in late 2012, leaving a notable gap in the series before NBA Live 14 arrived in 2013.
