Neo Turf Masters is an arcade-style golf game developed by Nazca Corporation — one of the studio's first two releases alongside Metal Slug — for the Neo Geo and arcade platforms in 1996, later made available on a wide range of additional platforms including PC, iOS, Android, and Mac. Players select from six golfers, each with distinct attributes, representing countries such as the USA, Brazil, Japan, and Germany, then compete across four fictional courses set in the United States, Japan, Australia, and Germany. Two modes are available: stroke play for one or two players, and match play for two players. Rather than the two-click swing system common to golf games of the period, Neo Turf Masters uses separate inputs for shot power, height, and directional shaping. This streamlined approach lowers the barrier to entry, though the courses feature demanding layouts and highly variable wind conditions that maintain a meaningful challenge.
NEO TURF MASTERS is an arcade classic that touched an entire generation. Competing as one of six international golfers on different courses worldwide, players choose their club, analyze the wind direction, and find the best path to finishing each hole in as few shots as possible.
