Nerf N-Strike Elite is a rail shooter developed by EA Salt Lake for the Wii, released in 2009 as a sequel to the original Nerf N-Strike. The game ships bundled with a blue Nerf Switch Shot EX-3 blaster peripheral that houses the Wii Remote, along with a Red Reveal decoder lens used to uncover enemy weak points, solve puzzles, and decode hidden messages during missions. Gameplay blends straightforward arcade-style shooting with light covert operation elements across a series of escalating blasting stages. Players can customize their Nerf blasters with different color schemes, scopes, barrels, and dart upgrades. A two-player cooperative mode lets players choose from four characters, each carrying distinct blasters and abilities; teaming up also unlocks special areas containing additional blasters and secrets. Enemies include a roster of robots, among them B.O.B., a character carried over from the first game.
