Neves is a tangram-style dissection puzzle game developed by Yuke's Media Creations and released for the Nintendo DS in 2007. Based on the Japanese Lucky Puzzle, the game tasks players with arranging a set of geometric pieces to fill target silhouettes. Using the DS stylus on the touch screen, players reposition, rotate, and flip each piece until it fits correctly within the designated outline. The game offers a library of more than 500 distinct puzzles, providing considerable variety across its single-player experience. The touch-based controls make direct manipulation of the pieces feel intuitive, closely mimicking the tactile nature of a physical dissection puzzle. A follow-up title, Neves Plus, was later released for WiiWare in 2009, bringing the same core concept to the Wii platform across Japan, North America, and Europe.
