Nights: Journey of Dreams is a platform-adventure game developed by Sega Studio USA and released for the Wii in 2007. Players follow two young protagonists, Will and Helen, who each enter Nightopia — a dream world — carrying their own personal struggles that manifest as nightmares. Each child has five main levels presenting a distinct portion of the narrative, though both storylines converge at a shared finale. Upon arriving in Nightopia, the characters merge with a mysterious being called Nights and gain the ability to fly through the dream landscape. Progression involves collecting hidden essences of the human spirit known as Ideya, while working toward a confrontation with the god-like antagonist Wizeman and his lieutenant Reala. The dual-protagonist structure gives the game two parallel story paths, offering different perspectives on the same overarching conflict within the dream world setting.
