Noby Noby Boy is an indie arcade game developed by Keita Takahashi and published by Bandai Namco Games, released in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and iOS. Players control BOY, a small creature capable of stretching his body to extraordinary lengths by eating objects and inhabitants found across a series of compact, whimsical environments. The core mechanic revolves around elongating BOY as much as possible, then reporting that accumulated length to GIRL, a separate entity whose growth is determined by the collective contributions of all players worldwide. As GIRL stretches further across the solar system, new stages become accessible to the entire player base. The game eschews conventional goals or fail states, prioritizing open-ended, experimental play over structured challenges. Its deliberately abstract design and shared global progression system distinguish it from traditional arcade or action titles.
