Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is a 2016 action role-playing game developed by Vanillaware, released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. It serves as an enhanced HD remake of the original PlayStation 2 title Odin Sphere, though the scope of changes expanded well beyond a straightforward remaster into something closer to a rebuilt version of the game. Revisions were made to gameplay systems based on feedback from players of the original, and the release introduces new boss encounters, additional attack moves, new background music, and an expanded map area. New story elements also appear alongside the gameplay additions.
