Otogi: Myth of Demons is a hack-and-slash action game developed by FromSoftware, released in 2002 for Xbox. Players control Raikoh, a warrior from a cursed clan who exists in a liminal state between life and death following the breaking of the Great Seal, an event that unleashed demons and darkness across the land. Spared by a mysterious princess, Raikoh is charged with hunting down hordes of immortal creatures and atoning for his violent past. Combat draws on more than 30 weapons, 12 varieties of magic, and over 10 specialized demon-slaying items, giving players a broad toolkit for engaging enemies across desolate environments. The game features a destructible world where trees, walls, and entire buildings can be brought down during battle. The title is also available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.
