Released in 2017 for PC and Mac, Peregrin is a puzzle-adventure game from the indie space that blends mythological, fantasy, and science-fiction influences. The game follows Abi, a young woman who leaves her scavenger tribe to venture into a desolate wasteland known as the Divide. There she encounters mysterious monoliths and strange artifacts that gradually expose the history of a collapsed civilization. Central to the gameplay is Abi's ability to temporarily possess the creatures she meets along the way — from ordinary animals to hostile guardians — each with distinct abilities that must be leveraged to solve puzzles and survive combat encounters. The game spans five chapters across more than 60 scenes, delivered in a distinct visual style drawing influence from science-fiction artists John Harris and Moebius. A fully voiced English narrative, custom musical score, and full controller support round out the experience.
