Please, Touch The Artwork 2 is a free point-and-click hidden object adventure developed by Studio Waterzooi, released in 2024 for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. Created by a solo developer over six months, the game was made in tribute to Belgian Modern Art pioneer James Ensor on the 75th anniversary of his death, with support from the Flemish Government during the Belgian EU Presidency 2024. Players guide a lost skeleton artist through five distinct worlds rendered in hand-painted imagery drawn from Ensor's actual works. Progression involves collecting hidden objects for the worlds' eccentric inhabitants, repairing cracks within the paintings, and solving casual puzzles. The experience is deliberately slow-paced and atmospheric, accompanied by relaxing sound design. A hint system assists when players become stuck, and a zoom feature reveals additional detail in the artwork. The game contains no advertisements or in-app purchases.
Assist a wandering skeleton painter in navigating a surreal, hand-painted universe, all while collecting hidden objects for the whimsical inhabitants that populate this visually enchanting world.
