Quedex is a puzzle-arcade game developed by Silent Software and released in 1987 for the Commodore 64/128, Atari ST/STE, Amiga, DOS, and TRS-80. Known as Mind-Roll in North American markets, Quedex was the title used in PAL regions. The player controls a rolling eyeball navigating through a series of mazes, each presenting distinct puzzles and collectible objects — including keys — that must be gathered to reach the exit. Progress through each maze is constrained by a time limit, adding urgency to the puzzle-solving. The combination of spatial navigation, item collection, and timed challenges places it at the intersection of arcade and puzzle gameplay, making it a notable example of the maze-based genre common to home computer platforms of the late 1980s.
