Rampage: Total Destruction is a 2006 monster-destruction fighting game developed by Pipeworks Software, released for the Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and PlayStation 2. Players control giant creatures and demolish cities across the globe, working through four distinct modes. The primary campaign has players systematically leveling cities around the world in sequence. Two competitive modes support up to four players: King of the City tasks competitors with controlling the greatest number of districts within a single city, while King of the World strings together multiple King of the City contests across different cities to determine an overall champion. A fourth mode, Time Trial, challenges players to clear every district in a city before a timer runs out. The combination of cooperative-style progression and multiplayer competition gives the game a range of ways to engage with its city-smashing mechanics.
