Raze's Hell is a third-person action shooter developed by Artech Studios and released in 2005 for Xbox and Xbox 360. Set in a world populated by grotesque creatures, the game follows Raze, a monstrous protagonist who battles an invading army of aggressively cute beings known as Kewletts. These saccharine invaders seek to impose their cheerful aesthetic on Raze's world, transforming its inhabitants through unwanted makeovers. The gameplay centers on resisting this invasion and restoring the land to its naturally ugly state, with dark humor running throughout. The premise mines considerable black comedy from the contrast between the adorable aggressors and the hideous world they threaten. The game includes full Xbox Live support for online play and features Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
