The Forgotten Kingdom is the second downloadable expansion for Remnant II, the third-person action shooter and RPG developed by Gunfire Games, released in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The expansion returns players to Yaesha, introducing a new region built around the ruins of a lost tribe whose history has been erased from memory. The central conflict involves Lydusa, an ancient stone spirit driven by vengeance, whose animated stone creatures now roam the decaying ziggurats of a once-thriving civilization. Players investigate the fate of this forgotten people by exploring new dungeons, confronting original bosses and enemies, and uncovering the secrets behind the tribe's destruction. The expansion introduces The Invoker, a new Archetype class, along with additional weapons and gear. New characters and allies are woven into a self-contained storyline aimed at restoring peace to the ravaged kingdom.
Lydusa, an ancient spirit of stone who has long been imprisoned, will do anything to secure her freedom and exact revenge against the mortals who betrayed her. The traces of torment, treachery, and death now haunt the land's once proud ziggurats, as Lydusa's living stones wander the crumbling remnants of a forgotten civilization in search of fresh blood.
