RetroRealms Arcade is a 2024 platform-adventure game developed by WayForward Technologies, released across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The package contains two separate side-scrolling action games built around licensed horror properties: one starring Michael Myers from the Halloween film series, the other featuring Ash Williams from the Starz television series Ash vs Evil Dead. Both titles present their content through 16-bit pixel art visuals and period-appropriate soundscapes evoking classic arcade side-scrollers. Players navigate multiple levels, combat enemies, collect hidden relics, and unlock upgrades and new abilities. A shared hub called the RetroRealms Arcade connects compatible titles in the series, enabling cross-game unlocks and character mash-ups when additional games or DLC are owned. Online leaderboards track scores across both included titles. A Day One Edition bundle added Laurie Strode and Kelly Maxwell as bonus playable characters, each with distinct play styles, storylines, and achievements.
