Rhythm Doctor is a music rhythm game developed by 7th Beat Games, released in 2025 for PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. The core mechanic is deceptively simple: players defibrillate patients' hearts by pressing a single button on the 7th beat of each musical bar. The catch is that every patient presents a different rhythmic condition rooted in genuine music theory concepts — polyrhythms, hemiolas, and irregular time signatures among them — which the game introduces gradually and accessibly across more than 20 handcrafted levels. Each level carries its own narrative thread, and together they form a character-driven storyline involving a large cast of doctors and patients. The full campaign supports drop-in, drop-out local co-op. Harder "Night Shift" variants of each level offer additional challenge, and a built-in level editor lets players create, share, and play community-made stages using custom music and over 50 visual effects.
