Rollcage Stage II is an arcade racing game developed by Attention To Detail and published by Psygnosis, released in 2000 for PlayStation and PC. A sequel to the original Rollcage, it retains the series' defining mechanical concept: vehicles with oversized wheels that extend beyond the car body, meaning there is no correct orientation — cars can flip upside down and continue racing without penalty. Races are further complicated by weapon pickups scattered across each track, which drivers collect and deploy against rivals during competition. The combination of invertible vehicles and combat elements distinguishes it from conventional arcade racers, placing equal emphasis on navigating the track and managing offensive and defensive encounters with opponents. The design builds directly on its predecessor while maintaining the core physics-driven quirks that defined the first game.
