With Sektori I wanted to create a shoot'em up where every run feels familiar, but is still completely unique. A game of skill, not memorization. The hand crafted attack waves, levels and even the bosses are combined, randomized and layered with the upgrade systems in a way that creates an interesting challenge for every run. The aesthetics of the game are very much inspired by techno music. Fast, detailed, colorful, saturated, intense, aggressive.
Dive in, take on the challenge as it comes and have fun!

Sektori is a twin-stick shooter developed by Kimmo Lahtinen, released in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players pilot configurable ships through a five-world campaign featuring dynamically changing levels, handcrafted enemy waves, and multi-phase bosses that evolve over the course of each run. Between stages, upgrade deck selections shape each attempt, ensuring that no two runs play out identically — a design philosophy rooted in skill rather than memorization. Three difficulty settings accommodate a range of players, while a dedicated Revolution mode raises the stakes to their maximum. Beyond the campaign, six alternate modes — including Classic, Gates, and Assault — alongside a medal and challenge system extend replayability considerably. The game's aesthetic draws heavily from techno music, producing fast, saturated, high-contrast visuals that are tightly synchronized with the soundtrack to create an immersive, high-intensity experience.
