Shift DX is a puzzle-arcade game developed by Choice Provisions, released in 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS. It revives the Shift series, which originated in 2008, compiling all levels from the first two entries alongside 100 newly designed stages created exclusively for this release. The central mechanic revolves around "shifting" — flipping the entire playing field upside down to navigate a series of increasingly complex rooms. Obstacles such as walls become traversable pits when the level is inverted, and players must think carefully about when and how to use this ability to progress.
