Shining Soul is an action RPG developed by Nextech, released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance and later made available on Wii U. Set in a world of magic and conflict, the game places players within an ongoing war between a powerful entity known as the Dark Dragon and a band of warriors called the Shining Fleet. Players choose from four distinct character classes — fighter, wizard, archer, or dragonute — each with customizable color schemes, weapons, and armor. The game supports both solo and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. Taking place during the war's final stage, the narrative carries an undercurrent of mistrust, as alliances among characters prove unreliable. The combination of class-based progression, equipment customization, and multiplayer support gives the game a blend of action and traditional RPG mechanics.
