Shrek 2 is a platform-adventure game developed by Luxoflux, the studio behind Vigilante 8, and released in 2004 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PC. Based on the second film, it follows Shrek's journey to Far Away Land to meet Fiona's parents, who are dismayed to discover their daughter has married an ogre. Gameplay blends combat and puzzle-solving, with players able to switch freely among four playable characters. Each character brings distinct abilities: Shrek can lift and hurl heavy objects, Donkey uses a "Burro Blast" capable of toppling large obstacles, and Fiona can slow down time in a style reminiscent of her fight sequence from the original film. The fourth character rounds out the roster, giving players flexibility in how they approach the game's various challenges across the story's chaotic set pieces.
