SingStar: Take That is a karaoke music game developed by SCE London Studio and released in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2. The game is built entirely around the catalog of British pop group Take That, with no songs from outside that repertoire. Gameplay follows the established SingStar format: one or more players sing into a microphone and earn points based on how accurately they match the correct notes at the correct timing. Sung lyrics and octave choice do not factor into scoring, keeping the assessment focused purely on pitch and rhythm accuracy. The PlayStation 3 version includes access to the SingStore, an online storefront where players can purchase and download additional tracks to expand their library beyond the base song selection.
