Snowboard Kids 2 is a racing and sports game developed by Racdym and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Set in Snow Town, the game follows a cast of young snowboarders whose everyday lives are repeatedly disrupted by the antagonist Damien's schemes to undermine them. Building closely on its predecessor's foundation, the game introduces three structured modes: Story, in which players compete in races to earn cash prizes while progressing through the narrative; Battle, which supports multiplayer competition; and Training. The item system received a thorough overhaul — previously called Shots, offensive pickups were redesigned and renamed Weapons, with new additions including the Rocket, Wings, and Whirlwind. Balancing adjustments were also made, such as reduced freeze duration and a coin-loss penalty when struck by a Slapstick. Character-specific special tricks were removed in favor of a more flexible aerial trick system, and players can now deflect incoming Weapon attacks by executing a trick or board grab at the right moment.
