Song of Horror: Complete Edition is a supernatural adventure developed by Protocol Games, released in 2019 for PC. The game's central antagonist, a mysterious entity called The Presence, is governed by an adaptive AI that responds to player behavior rather than scripted sequences, generating tension that shifts organically with each playthrough. Players investigate a series of haunted locations — including an antique shop, a forgotten abbey, and an abandoned mental hospital — through a roster of distinct characters, each connected to the story in different ways. Characters approach clues and items differently based on their backgrounds, and some prove more capable against supernatural threats than others. Crucially, death is permanent: when a character is killed by The Presence, the player must continue the investigation through a surviving character. The Complete Edition packages the full episodic game along with its season pass content, replacing the original episodic Steam listing, with upgrade bundles available for players who owned earlier episodes.
