Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is a kart-style racing game developed by Sumo Digital and released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. Players choose from a roster of 20 characters drawn from the Sonic and Sega universe — including Sonic, Tails, AiAi from Super Monkey Ball, Amigo from Samba de Amigo, and Dr. Eggman — each piloting a distinct vehicle such as sports cars, bikes, planes, or a giant banana. The game features 27 tracks set across environments like Seaside Hill, Curien Mansion, and Blizzard Castle, taking racers through castle ramparts, rainforest canopies, and urban landscapes. Combat is central to the racing, with collectible weapons like missiles and mines supplementing each character's unique All-Star move — among them Super Sonic invincibility, a monkey ball barrage, and Tails' Tornado. Power-ups help players recover after falling behind. Multiplayer supports up to four participants via split-screen.
