Sonic Origins Plus is a 2023 expanded platformer collection developed by Sega, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It bundles the base Sonic Origins release with the Plus Expansion Pack, bringing the total library to 16 titles — the original four remastered Sonic games alongside 12 Game Gear entries. The collection introduces Amy Rose as a playable character in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD, marking her first appearance as a playable character in those games. Knuckles also becomes playable in Sonic CD. Previously released add-on content is included, such as Extreme Missions, Mirror Mode, additional character animations, and extra music and backgrounds. A premium physical edition — the first time Sonic Origins appeared on physical media — was released for Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and came with an art book, reversible cover, and outer sleeve.
