Soul Bubbles is a 2008 platform-puzzle game developed by Mekensleep for the Nintendo DS. Players control a young shaman apprentice whose task is to collect wandering lost souls and encase them in protective bubbles, then shepherd them safely through a succession of dangerous and increasingly hostile environments. The bubbles are fragile, and keeping them intact while navigating treacherous terrain forms the core challenge of the game. The Nintendo DS touchscreen serves as the primary input method, allowing players to draw and manipulate bubbles directly on screen. Levels grow progressively more difficult as new hazards and obstacles threaten the souls in the player's care, demanding careful navigation and quick thinking to ensure the vulnerable beings reach safety.
