Spartan: Total Warrior is a hack-and-slash action game developed by The Creative Assembly, released in 2005 for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. A spin-off within the Total Warrior series, it casts the player as a Spartan warrior fighting through large-scale battles alongside allied troops against overwhelming enemy forces. Gameplay is mission-based with an arcade tempo, tasking the player with objectives such as eliminating enemy commanders, escorting sappers to destroy siege equipment, and defending territorial borders.
