Sprint Cars: Road to Knoxville is a dirt-track racing game developed by Big Ant Studios and released in 2006 for PC and PlayStation 2. Players compete in high-speed sprint car events at velocities exceeding 140 mph, navigating a roster of more than 20 real-world tracks including Eldora, Williams Grove, Dodge City, and the iconic Knoxville Raceway. Three vehicle classes are available — Midgets, Open-wheeled Modifieds, and Winged Sprint Cars — with Tony Stewart's #20 Winged Sprint Car among the licensed entrants. The career mode casts players as a racing team owner responsible for hiring drivers, securing sponsors, and purchasing and tuning vehicles. A Time Trial mode enables global leaderboard comparisons. Additional unlockable vehicles, including unconventional options such as golf carts and dune buggies, supplement the main content. The career structure follows a progression from regional competition toward national recognition.
