Spyborgs is a 2009 platform and beat 'em up developed by Bionic Games for the Wii, in which players fight through enemy-filled levels as part of a team of cyborg secret agents. Before each level, players select two of three available characters: Clandestine, a fast and agile female ninja; Bouncer, a slow but powerful robot; and Stinger, a soldier equipped with a cybernetic gun arm. The game is built around two-player cooperative play, though an AI companion fills in during single-player sessions. Characters can combine their attacks to deal bonus damage, and earning experience points allows players to upgrade their abilities over time. Controls are handled via the Wii Remote, with motion inputs triggering special attacks, though traditional button controls are also supported as an alternative.
