Star Wars Battlefront: Outer Rim is a 2016 expansion for Star Wars Battlefront, developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion introduces two new locations drawn from the Star Wars universe: the smelting factories and industrial pipework of Sullust, and Jabba the Hutt's throne room and sail barge garage on Tatooine. Two additional playable hero characters join the roster — Greedo and Nien Nunb — each bringing a distinct combat style. The expansion also adds new weapons, including the Relby-v10 rifle and the DT-12 blaster pistol, alongside new Star Cards: the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim. These elements expand the shooter's existing multiplayer sandbox with fresh maps, characters, and equipment options across all supported platforms.
