Stoked is a snowboarding game developed by BongFish, released in 2009 for Xbox 360 and PC. Set in open backcountry terrain, it drops players from a helicopter at any point on the mountain, doing away with fixed paths or course boundaries in favor of freeform exploration. A dynamic weather system alters sun and snow conditions continuously, meaning the mountain plays differently from session to session depending on visibility, temperature, and snow quality. The game features eight professional snowboarders, including Travis Rice and Nicolas Mueller, alongside gear and apparel from more than 30 real-world brands. The combination of unrestricted starting points and shifting environmental conditions forms the core of its design, emphasizing replayability and rider freedom over structured competition or linear progression.
