Sumatra: Fate of Yandi is a point-and-click adventure developed by Cloak and Dagger Games and released in 2019, available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows Yandi, a logging worker stranded deep in the jungle after a devastating landslide. His immediate goals are to locate his coworker and best friend Ramdan and return home to his partner Adiratna, a reunion made more emotionally complex by unresolved arguments that weigh on him throughout the journey. Players navigate vast stretches of unexplored forest and desolate wasteland, encountering a cast of human and animal characters while solving puzzles and piecing together layered mysteries. Drawing inspiration from classic 1980s and 1990s point-and-click titles, Indonesian nature and folklore, and Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World, the game features a streamlined interface, an original 30-track soundtrack, and approximately three to five hours of gameplay.
