Superbike World Championship is a 1999 motorcycle racing simulation developed by Milestone and published by Electronic Arts for PC, marking the studio's first collaboration with EA following the Screamer series. The game is built around the official Superbike World Championship license, featuring five manufacturers — Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha — with physics modeled on their real-world counterparts. Twelve real circuits are represented, including Monza, Laguna Seca, and Brands Hatch, each rendered under varying atmospheric conditions. Riders from the 1997 season, among them Carl Fogarty, John Kocinski, and Aaron Slight, appear alongside their actual machines. Two distinct modes are available: Arcade, which offers single races or a full championship with accessible handling, and Simulation, which requires detailed bike setup adjustments across multiple parameters. Eight configurable realism settings — covering braking, traction control, and assisted riding, among others — allow the experience to be tuned across a wide range of skill levels.
