Tak and the Guardians of Gross is a 2008 adventure game developed by Blitz Games for Wii and PlayStation 2. The story begins when Tak accidentally unleashes four imprisoned Titans — known as the Big G's — while cleaning a shrine. These four antagonists, each defined by a particular variety of filth, include a landfill giant, a slime giant, a molten cheese giant, and a stink giant. With the creatures now free to wreak havoc on his village, Tak must seek out the Juju masters associated with each Titan and obtain the magical abilities necessary to confront them. The premise blends gross-out humor with action-adventure gameplay, casting the player's protagonist as both the cause of the crisis and its only hope for resolution. The game is based on the animated Tak franchise and targets a younger audience familiar with the series.
