A simulator developed by NanaOn-Sha and released for the Nintendo DS in 2005, Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop centers on helping a virtual Tamagotchi character establish and run a small business. The game offers ten distinct shops, each functioning as its own minigame, where the player manages a storefront and tends to customers. Three playable characters are available, each with a distinct personality. The title makes deliberate use of the DS hardware, incorporating stylus-based touch-screen controls throughout its gameplay. A multiplayer mode is also included, allowing players to exchange items with one another.
