Target: Terror is a light-gun shooter developed by Levithan Games, originally released in arcades in 2004 and later ported to the Wii. Players take on the role of an elite counter-terrorism operative tasked with defending the United States against a large-scale terrorist assault unfolding across multiple domestic locations. Gameplay centers on engaging successive waves of enemies using a variety of high-tech weapons drawn from the protagonist's arsenal. The structure follows a pattern typical of the arcade genre, emphasizing fast-paced target elimination and escalating threat management as players work through the nationwide crisis. The Wii version adapted the arcade experience for home play, taking advantage of the console's motion controls to replicate the point-and-shoot mechanics of the original cabinet format.
