Tenchu: Dark Secret is a 2006 stealth-action adventure developed by Polygon Magic for the Nintendo DS. Players take on the role of ninja assassins tasked with protecting a princess, working through more than 40 single-player missions using a variety of authentic ninja weapons and tactics. Combat options include direct sword attacks, planted explosive traps, and other tools of the ninja trade. A crafting system allows players to construct their own weapons and items, adding a layer of customization to mission preparation. The game also supports local wireless multiplayer, letting players test their skills against others in head-to-head matches. The combination of mission variety, weapon crafting, and handheld multiplayer made it a notable entry in the long-running Tenchu franchise.
Tenchu: Dark Secret boasts three unique modes and a whole host of options to keep each match fresh and fun. Whether you're creeping through a bamboo forest to plunge a dagger into your friend's back or setting a trap to steal his precious dumplings, you're going to need a towel to wipe the sweat from your hands.
