Two modes shape the experience: Birthday Mode provides unlimited funds for casual play, while Survivor Mode begins with scarce resources, requiring players to monitor health and energy, scavenge, complete newspaper deliveries, or sell prizes at the pawn shop to stay afloat. Be careful though, there is lots of highway traffic and tourist activity on the island so make sure to keep off the roads.
